The new twins were named Carona and Cody

New Delhi: Twin children born during the lockdown of the Corona virus in India have been named cod and corona.

According to Indian media, twin siblings were born at Dr. BR Ambadkar Memorial Hospital in Raipur, hospital sources confirmed.

Preniti and Vinay Verma, parents from Chhattisgarh, say they have named the children after the virus to find happiness in these difficult times.

Prenaty, the mother of newborns, says the Corona virus is deadly, but the virus has made people realize that cleaning is very important.

According to him, he had a difficult time getting to the hospital due to the lockdown.

The couple arrived at the hospital at midnight for delivery, but there was a hospital staff who cooperated with them, the birth of both children was processed through the operation.

Parents say they may change their children's names later.

It may be recalled that in India, there have been reported 82 cases of Corona virus till now while 86 deaths have been reported from the virus.

Lockdowns have been announced nationwide until April 14 to prevent the spread of the virus, and the administration is strictly in place to curb it.
